The Issues

What Tom Stands For

These come from decades of making an honest living in the Poconos,
and not from some political consultant in Harrisburg.

Environment

We have to protect what makes
the 176th beautiful

Across the county, we are home to some of the most beautiful woodlands, farmland, and pristine waterways. Not only are they a major attraction to those wanting to visit the Poconos, but they are essential to our local way of life. From the farms that rely on stable environmental conditions, schools and hospitals that are properly zoned to protect their environments, to the thousands of homes that rely on wells for their drinking water, these cannot be taken to granted.

In Harrisburg, Tom will safeguard these local resources and assure that no developer or speculator can cause tremendous harm throughout our community just for the chance at a better bottom line.

The Kind Of Neighbor Who Notices The Pothole

The Kucer's are the type of neighbors that if there is a problem impacting their area, they will work to fix it. Not only will Tom fight in Harrisburg to assure that Monroe County has the money to fix its' roads, but he'll also bring the fight to Stroudsburg if the county isn't doing the job that the people deserve.

Working Families & Worker Protections

Assuring Dignity at Work and in Life

As a card carrying member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 44 out of Wilkes-Barre, Tom gets that your work can be your craft and that you deserve good and safe working conditions regardless of your paycheck.

In Harrisburg, Tom would support legislation and efforts to strengthen our unions, build on the protections that workers have, and foster relationships so that unions and their members have plentiful opportunities throughout the district.

Fighting inflation and other downturns

It is no secret that just like the rest of the country, inflation is agonizing throughout Monroe County. From sky-high prices at the pump, the grocery store, to our power bills, something has to change.

Tom stands for finally raising the minimum wage in PA so that anyone working 40 hours a week in Pennsylvania actually makes enough money to live in the Poconos.
